This year we were able to provide two $1,000.00 scholarships to eligible ASSIST program students.
Hannah Garrido had to overcome great adversity during her high school years.
Not only did she persevere but achieved membership in the National Art Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars. Hannah was accepted to not one but six universities and she will be attending college this fall. It is our honor to be able to help her on her way.
Aleeshia Rickerson was a cheerleader at SAHS and received the Coaches Award.
Overcoming difficult circumstances her Guidance Counselor described her “as a student who promotes positivity and spirit around the SAHS campus, and an exceptional student who is kind, outgoing and full of potential. She will be attending Saint Johns River State College in the fall.
We are so thankful that we were blessed with the resources to be able to help these two exceptional young women as they start the next chapter of their lives.
