We learned that the Shoes of Hope event that we help to sponsor each year had been canceled due to the Coronavirus.

Knowing that disadvantaged kids would still need shoes for school, Somebody Cares St. Augustine purchased 100 pairs of Adidas shoes in a variety of sizes for K-12 kids.

Our next challenge was how to get them to the kids who really need them. We partnered with Hugs Across the County who provides clothes to students and now shoes, too!

We never cease to be amazed at how God brings us together to meet the needs of His kids.
