Ministry Activity Updates for Care Projects - March 2026
In March, SCSA supported multiple Care-Projects and helped meet the needs of elderly individuals, as well as some of our local partners:
- SCSA partnered with a group of college students eager to serve. We provided rakes, trash bags, and hedgers to the Colled Hill Lutheran school as they worked with our partner, The Homeless Coalition, to clear a field on their property
- SCSA provided a new door to our church partner, Anastasia 16, helping the Alpha-Omega Miracle Home.
- SCSA provided a wheelchair ramp for an elderly lady.
Ministry Activity Update for Kids - March 2026
During March, we were busy meeting the needs of multiple children:
- Working with our CarePortal & Church partners, we met the request of 2 children who needed laptops for their schooling. SCSA provided the laptops to Creekside Christian Church and Bridge of Life Church, who are directly supporting these children.
- SCSA provided funding for a family who was in desperate need of bedroom furniture for their children. Working through CarePortal, we partnered with Safe Families For Children and Anastasia Church to meet this important need.
- The family advocate, Jacey Remirez of the ASSIST program at SJCSD, came to us as the school needed water bottles for kids who could not afford them. SCSA met the need of 25 Water Bottles for Kids.
