Ministry Updates - November 2025
December is a great reminder for us all. To remember why our Lord & Savior chose to come among us here on Earth. As Mark states in 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” May we focus more on giving than receiving as it brings so much more joy to all of us.
CARE-PROJECTS Update
During the month of November, the Care-PJ team partnered on 2 separate projects:
1. We met the need of Ms. Sarah as her stove stopped working and she was not in a position to replace it. Our Care-Leader happened to have a spare stove, and was able to replace the defective one, bringing a smile to Ms. Sarah’s face and heart.
2. The Evelyn Hamblen Center approached SCSA on a project that would involve the students from the school. They had very old and worn out flower beds and asked us if we could build them new ones. They are going to have the students be involved by planting new ones and maintaining the units. Check out the new flower beds. SCSA will be providing the plants as well.
SC4KIDS Update
As many of you are aware, November is a busy month for SC4KIDS. We have our annual event of providing Coats for children that are in need within the St. Johns County School District (SJCSD). The 2025 requests coming from SJCSD was the largest ever. We received requests from over 25 of the County Schools for over 550 coats. I’m so pleased to share that SCSA and our partners stepped up and met all the needs. A big thanks go to all our Church Partners, Knights of Columbus, and all the individuals who contributed. THANK YOU! We could not have met this need without your support.
