Ministry Updates – September 2025
As we entered the fall season, the Care-Projects and SC4Kids ministries were busy in their respective ministries. Please check out their activities below: Please feel free to share with your family & friends.
CARE-PROJECTS Update
During the month of September, the Care-PJ team partnered on 2 separate projects:
1. We have a new partner in Faith Community Church. They sent a group of about 40 people to help clean out the brush area at The Homeless Coalition, which is in the process of planning to build new low-income housing. We are so grateful for the work the team from Faith Community Church provided, and we look forward to future partnerships. Please check out the attached pictures & video from Pastor Braden Rainey.
2. We partnered with Anastasia Church in providing some lattice work at the Women’s Refuge of SJC.
SC4KIDS Update
Somebody Cares St. Augustine partnered with Webster Elementary School to help serve children in need of socks. SCSA provided over 60 pairs of new socks for their elementary kids. SCSA continues to try and be the hands and feet of Jesus in the St. Johns County community. As always, we thank our donors for their support.
COATS4KIDS
As we enter October, we know that cooler months are on the way. With that said, SCSA is starting to prepare our SC4KIDS Coat Drive. We will be working directly with the St. Johns County School District. Stay tuned for more to come.
