This was the eleventh year that Somebody Cares St. Augustine provided backpacks for the Christmas Day Celebration meal. 

Rick’s Family and Friends again had the meal at the Armory and we provided 125 backpacks that were filled with supplies for the homeless and less fortunate in our community. 

This year due to the Pandemic it was decided that the meal should be served outdoors and Somebody Cares provided a large tent to accommodate moving the event outdoors.

A Christmas meal with all the trimmings was provided and all were blessed by the volunteers who showed up from the Sheriffs   Dept. to serve those in need.

We will continue to support this endeavor each year as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus in out community.
