For many years we have been praying for God’s direction for the future of Somebody Cares St. Augustine.

Our Board has been keenly aware that new leadership would be needed if Somebody Cares St. Augustine was going to be able to continue the work the Lord has called us to. At our August 2021 board meeting I was so blessed to be able to nominate Jeff Rogers (a long time board member) to succeed me as President of Somebody Cares St. Augustine. Jeff was unanimously elected, and I couldn’t be more excited about the future of Somebody Cares St. Augustine.

Founding and leading this ministry for the past 15 years has been one of the most exciting and rewarding seasons of my life. Being a witness to 13 years of CareFest blessings, Coats for Kids, caring for homeless students and seeing how God united the body of Christ in our city to bless so many and change so many lives, has filled me with a personal knowledge of His awesome power to move His people, and a deeper faith that continues to sustain me.

As Founder I will continue to serve on the board and will be active in the ministry as long as God allows. My plan is to be the best most active volunteer that Jeff has. Please join me in supporting Jeff in his new role.
